“She made sure that everything my husband and I planned for a year and a half was executed perfectly”

We hired Suzette as our day of coordinator for our wedding on May 24, 2014 at Tom Ham’s Lighthouse in San Diego. Suzette set up everything perfectly and made sure all events happened on time. She made sure that everything my husband and I planned for a year and a half was executed perfectly. She was on time to every appointment and quick to communicate with us and we didn’t have to worry about anything on the day of the wedding, especially since we were already nervous and had other things to worry about that day.

When I arrived at the venue right before the ceremony, the reception area was already set up and it looked beautiful. It’s hard to really visualize how everything will look because you’re basically putting a bunch of things together that you think will work but you won’t know until the day of the wedding. She set up all the tables according to my instructions but she also made some changes that worked way better.

During the reception, we were overwhelmed with everything that was going on and all the guests we had to greet. We even had a surprise slide show that threw the whole timeline off but Suzette kept us moving along. We had to extend our wedding another hour because of the speeches and slideshow. We didn’t even realize that the reception was going to end soon (yes, it does go by in a flash!) but Suzette pulled me aside to ask if we wanted to extend the wedding. She consulted with the other vendors to make sure we could and we are so glad because it would’ve been a disappointment if our wedding had ended early since we were having the time of our lives! At the end of the night, Suzette packed everything back up and we received every single item back.

Your wedding day will be one of the best days of your lives so you have to trust someone who will execute your vision perfectly but also someone who can make decisions independently. No matter how much we planned, there were some hiccups but Suzette would always consult with us and give us suggestions to make sure our wedding ran as smoothly as possible.
